Cable Guidance

  • Use 23 AWG solid copper for lower resistance
  • Mind bundle size — many cables together heat up; derate accordingly
  • Cat6A is recommended for high-wattage PoE runs

Undersized cable causes voltage drop and heat. Spec right the first time.
